At the heart of Verano Boat Works is a team of skilled and caring craftsmen who have an unreasonable love of wooden boats. While our personal experience dates back to the early 1980’s, we draw on a collective history of Michigan boatbuilding that extends well over 100 years and flows directly from Algonac to Holland and onward through Verano Boat Works. While our story is rooted in the wooden boats of the past, our passion today is creating modern wooden boats for the twenty-first century. We fully embrace technology that furthers our craft such as computer-aided design and CNC cutting capabilities – But at its core each Verano Boat is a product, and reflection, of the skilled work of the craftsmen who built it.
